great calendar(s)

I was on KUT's website (which is the local public radio station) the other day trying to find out more info on the Capitol Tree Lighting ceremony and stumbled upon their calendar section.  Wow.  It is chock full of Austin goodness. If you are ever bored, just go here and you'll find something to do. If that link doesn't work, just go to their website and click on the calendar section.

Another good thing to know about is the Austin Events Calendar. It's got Austin events already printed out on the calendar so you don't have to think about it, just look at the date go. I bought my 2010 one at Book People.

Going back to KUT for a second, they have a section on volunteer opportunities too. May I suggest Meals on Wheels if you are having trouble making up your mind?
